“Now you can have the cool real-time translation function that Google showed off a year ago at its made by Google event.”

Google Translate real-time translation has finally trickled down to all headphone with the Google Assistant. Droid Life spotted a change in the verbiage on Google support page for the Pixel Buds, where it stated Translation is available on all headphones with Google Assistant.

Now you can have the cool real-time translation function that Google showed off a year ago at its made by Google event. What’s even cooler is that you’re no longer subject to the one make of headphones that supported the feature (Google Pixelbuds). This opens up a world of opportunities. If you want sports style earbuds, on-ear, or huge noise canceling over the ear headphones and you want the ability to translate any of the over 100 languages available, now you can.  I’ve tried it out on our JBL Everest 110GA and it worked great, as I expected. (Side Note: The JBL Everest 110GA are still on sale)

Buy TLR Technology a cup of coffee or energy drink.
