“Huawei’s Mate 20 series is the FIRST smartphone to have a fingerprint reader under the display.”

Keeping with the trend of Tech-tober Huawei announced its newest product line of Mate 20 phones as well as a watch. I’ll be focusing on the phone in this article as they deserve it. It’s not too often that I look at a device and I think, gezzz that’s a lot of features but with the Mate 20 line that’s exactly what I thought.

Ok, I know… Let me back up, I’m sure some of you have never heard of Huawei. I’ll give you a pass, THIS TIME..lol

Long story short Huawei is a huge player in the Chinese market and is well known in developing countries. A few years ago they started bringing their products to the U.S. market and if you’re really into smartphone tech you’ll know that last year the Mate 10 pro was giving iPhone X and the Pixel 2’s a run for their money. Some tech blogs and Youtubers even said the camera on the Mate 10 was better than the iPhone X and on par with the Pixel 2. (said to be the best smartphone camera)

Well, welcome to Tech-tober( October, Month of BIG tech release) and Huawei has just dropped the mic on the smartphone world. If you’re in the market for a new flagship phone in 2018/2019 and you don’t at least look at the Mate 20pro or Mate 20x you’re just not living right. They are honestly that good.

I’m going to be upfront. I’m going to keep this brief and you really need to do a bit of research yourself into all the features of the Mate 20 series as they can do SO much its really crazy, not kind of crazy, I’m talking full on bat $h*t craziness here. Anyway here goes nothing.

Huawei’s Mate 20 series is the FIRST smartphone to have a fingerprint reader under the display. Yep, they beat Samsung, Apple, Google, LG, HTC, and Sony. This is some next level stuff right here. The fingerprint reader under the display should let you know this phone is going to be over the top.

Next, let’ get the camera(s) out of the way, yes there is more than 1, in fact, there are 3 Cameras on the back alone. Huawei partnered with Leica a top-tier name in the (professional grade) camera market. These cameras are no joke. In fact let me just prove a point, and keep in mind these are just numbers and real-world experience will vary. That said keep in mind the Google Pixel 2 is still considered to be the best shooter from reviewers so far, the Mate 20 series and Google Pixel 3( not released yet) have not been fully tested in the hands of most reviews and will likely take the top spot from the Pixel 2.

Notice the Mate 20 pro Scored 11 points higher, that’s not a small margin!

The main camera on the back of the Mate 20 pro is 40 megapixels  YES!!!! you read that right 40 megapixels, ok so what about the other 2 cameras… Oh, they aren’t much just a 20-megapixel mono and an 8mp telephoto lens. For reference, the Pixel 3, iPhone X max, and Samsung Note 9 all have 12-megapixel cameras… You’re starting to see how beastly the Mate 20 series is, aren’t you?

How about you add wireless charging, then you add reverse wireless charging to that… (yes, reverse wireless charging is a thing) The Mate 20 pro can actually charge other devices wirelessly. THAT’S NUTS!

If that’s not enough CRAZINESS for you how about a 4200mah battery, that’s larger than the battery in Samsungs Note 9!

I also need to mention that it’s also IP68 water resistant.

I’m just scratching the surface on these amazing phones, check them out for yourself at Huawei.com
